the lion, the witch and the wardrobe; the chronicles of narnia
Last week we went to see “Narnia“…
A movie of which I’ve got mixed feelings – before I went to see it ofcurz…
Reading a lot of contra’s concerning this picture; too childish, too much christianlike, too much like Tolkien, wannabe-Tolkien, etc etc…
ALL of that certainly didn’t encourage me to see this movie, in fact I was still doubting if it’ld been a good idea doing this, whilst holding my ticket…
And ow boy am I glad I did it… I just let it come over me, with not too high expectations (thatwaylessdisappointment)… It was superb… I loved it, truly madly deeply… And I expect a lot of the entire trilogy…
Ever seen the Lion King? Ever had goosebumps from the roar the Lion King gives you while standing on his rock? Well I did… And hell yeah I got boosebumps again… and with the entire Lion-thingie it reminded me so much of…..
Sometimes I even wonder if I should go and read them books…
Sif you don’t mind creatures talking and you don’t mind fantasy at all… plz do yourself a favour and see this while it’s still playing in theatres…
This movie’s about a family being ripped apart by WWII (iguessit’stwo), with all four of the children ending up with some crazy professor in science or whatever, all minor details in the movie… and they discover this armoire… in which they discover an entire fantasy-world, called Narnia… it appears to some they were/are a prophecy in Narnia, a prophecy coming true… and then the quest begins…
